Instead of flower girls tiptoeing down the aisle, two beloved grandmothers took center stage, baskets in hand, sprinkling petals with the kind of confidence and joy that only comes from a life well lived. Guests leaned in, smiles spread across the pews, and laughter quietly bubbled up as they made their way down the aisle.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any sweeter, the ring bearer made his entrance. Running. Full speed. Arms outstretched. A tiny suit, a big grin, and a sign proudly announcing that the bride was on her way.
As McKenzie walked down the aisle on her father’s arm, all attention turned toward her. From the quiet anticipation as Wesley waited at the altar to the tender handoff from father to groom, every moment unfolded with intention and grace.
One of the most sacred moments of McKenzie and Wesley’s ceremony came as they shared communion together at the altar. Standing hand in hand, they paused amid the day’s celebration to reflect, pray, and center their marriage on walking through life together with Christ at the center. Surrounded by their wedding party and loved ones, this quiet, reverent moment spoke volumes, grounding their vows in something far greater than the day itself and setting a meaningful foundation for the life they are building together.
As they made their way back down the aisle, Wesley and McKenzie paused for an affectionate dip, a celebratory kiss, and a shared glance that said everything. Guests were smiling and fully wrapped up in the happiness of the moment!
